Like LeBron James, I am self-appointing myself The King, The Cabin King.
I have long been a Cabin-Enthusiast and Living the Cabin Life: 40 years now…
At the age of 12 I was introduced to our family cabin up in Lake Arrowhead, California. When my Dad began seeing my stepmom, we started going up to the cabin every weekend each summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I have so many fond and incredible memories from that place.
After high school I started going up there alone, with friends and girlfriends the rest of the year as well. At the time I was the only one that did. That brought with it so many new experiences and good times, from New Year’s Parties to intimate weekends. There is no better peace and relaxation than how I felt when I was up in the mountains in that cabin. I have traveled a good bit and to this day, that cabin in Lake Arrowhead is still my favorite place.
As a father, we started going up and AirBnb’ing cabins during Covid. Such a stressful time was good in the memories it brought back and those we were able to create as a family. Now, I am looking to get our first family cabin in the Middle Fork St. Vrain Canyon: 0n Riverside Drive in Lyons, Colorado. To date I have been in over 2 dozen cabins on Riverside Drive and plan to get into our family cabin in May of 2025 (next month)…
I am beyond excited for the memories that will be created in our family cabin, in finding my new favorite place.
If you have ever wondered about having your own cabin, 2nd or vacation home (especially in the mountains), let me know; I would love to discuss the possibilities with you. It is possible, let me show you how!
Sincerely,
Bryan
